Project 3. JRU Hanging Garden
Hanging or Vertical Gardens are a common site in the metropolis due to lack of space for gardening. Here at Jose Rizal University, the YES-O (JRU Chapter) started to build a hanging garden along the walls of its High School Quadrangle.
The project started in the latter part of SY 14-15. This SY 15-16, the organization, spearheaded by its High School Principal, Mr. Romel C. Navarro, and under the supervision of its advisers, Mrs. Maria Theresa B. Bonus and Ms. Ailene O. Montalban, plans to complete the hanging garden by filling all the surrounding walls of the HS Quadrangle.
