DIY Hanging Garden

Tree Planting Activities

Project

The YES Organization - JRU Chapter is currently beautifying the JRU High School Division quadrangle by building a Hanging Garden or Vertical Garden (see Blog section to know how to make one) along its surrounding walls.

Donate

The YES Organization encourages everyone to actively participate in our projects by donating 1.5L PET bottles, medicinal and ornamental plants, and garden soil for the Hanging Garden.

Fruit-bearing seedlings such as mango, guyabano, star apple (kaimito), sugar-apple (atis), etc. are also accepted for future tree planting activities.

Get Involved

Our planet Earth has been experiencing the ill-effects of global warming.  Let's all work hand-in-hand by keeping our surroundings clean, practice reduce-reuse-recycle, get involve in tree planting activities (even in your own backyard), and campaign for environment-saving programs.

Hanging or Vertical Gardens are a common site in the metropolis due to lack of space for gardening.  Here at Jose Rizal University, the YES-O (JRU Chapter) started to build a hanging garden along the walls of its High School Quadrangle.
